WELCOME TO THE FALL CHALLENGE!
It is such a privilege and honor to share in the heartwarming stories of those who have achieved weight loss success. Their personal journeys and the knowledge they have gained not only helps provide the vision and hope for our victory, it shows us that “ordinary” people can do “extraordinary” things! Their proof is a constant reminder to open our minds to what they learned, stay steadfast in our determination and efforts, and believe in our own transformation. This is not a dream; it is our reality … claim your success!“Hope is the thing with feathers, that perches in the soul, and sings the tune without words, and never stops at all.” - Emily Dickinson

Day 15 September 15th
Stacey Grieve asks, “Why Are You Weighting?” and shares a most remarkable journey of self-exploration and the importance of changing your thought process about food from subconscious to conscious. She SHED 150 lbs and not only experienced weight loss success but changed her core beliefs about self. My journey brought a similar enlightenment and, I believe, is the difference of making a lifestyle change versus the continuous and unhealthy cycle of yo-yo dieting. Enjoy …

What a wonderful example Stacey is....she gives us much to think about! ; )
It's so true that being overweight serves you in someway. We all need to find out in what way. And I like the term "shed" instead of "lose" weight.
I love what she has said here...."You can't pray the calories out of cheesecake. You have to put down the fork and take responsibility." I love her determination! What a beautiful spirit!
Thats a good story. I can't imagine what a long walk that was.
Now...that is definitely a day in my life. I work from my home office and there is nothing between me and the refrigerator besides...well, ME! Thank you so much for the motivation! ; )
I know exactly where this mother is coming from. I feel sluggish when I take a break from the gym. And it's hard to get started again.
WOW! Patricia does not even look like the same person! You know what is very real and frightening to me about this success story? But for the grace of God this could have been me. My cholesterol was CRAZY high and I didn't even know it before my physical. My Dr. said that I too was a heart attack waiting to happen. Half of that cholesterol down now and more to go. ; ) Where are my Cheerios? LOL!
Pittman is an inspiration. I hope that I can get back into my running and stay there long-term. I have been down about not being there for these past three weeks or so. And since I have been out of it, I have felt so weak that I can't go like I usually could, as if I had been out for years and not just weeks.
Thats a great story and its true that the only equipment you need is yourself.
Way to go Staton! I love that he set such high goals for himself and then achieved them slowly...just like we are trying to do here as well.
I can imagine that a 140 mile race would keep you motivated.
Great story once again. I hope to write my success story soon and I'll post for everyone to see!!
What a beautiful story! She is very motivational and I love that gown too. ; )
